Grounded is huge in the eyes of a shrunken down kid, so theres bound to be some secrets hidden about. We've compiled a list of some secrets and easter eggs you can find while exploring the backyard. This video showcases everything we cover in the article.
Sword in The Stone
If you head south from the starting area, near the fallen branch, you can find a hidden Rotten Larva Sword that is lodged into a stone. You can pull the sword out and repair it to start off with a pretty good weapon to get you started, or you can use the recipe that you receive after analyzing it to craft your own. This little hidden secret is clearly a nod at the old "Sword in the stone" story.
Battletoad
If you make your way to the easter swampy area of the map, you can find a giant toad figurine lodged halfway into the mud. This is actually a character from the 1991 NES game Battletoads. You could easily take a look at this guy and not even realize its from one of the rarest games in history. And you can also stand close to his chest and hear some music that comes straight from the game itself.
Rare Four Leaf Clover
This one is actually really close to the battletoad. If you just head south a bit, you'll find an underwater tunnel that leads into and underground cave that almost gives a mythical feeling to it. Inside will be the only four-leaf clover in the entire game. When you look at the clover it prompts you to interact with it, but fo far theres nothing it can be used for. My guess is the developers are saving it for a later update.
