5 Fun Things to do in Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5. Game published by ubisoft for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Released March 27 2018

Far Cry 5 is a massive open-world game with a ton of content to explore. The main quest line and side missions can be enough in themselves for most players, but in case you need a break from the story line, or even are just looking for more things to do, this list will give you a few things to try out. I will also leave a link to a video showcasing these at the end.

1. Taking Drugs to Feel Like a Superhero

Completing the two side missions "Fast" and "Furious" given by the NPC Tweak will unlock the use of these two stat-boosting drugs. One allowing you to run at incredible speeds, and the other giving you super strength. So if you've ever wanted to bolt across an open field to take down a full grown grizzly bear in one punch, here's your ticket.

2. Fishing

What open-world game isn't complete without a fishing mechanic. Far Cry 5 has a large variety of fish species which can actually make you quite a bit of money if you sell them.  You will need to buy a rod at the shop if you haven't came across one yet. If you're feeling up for the task you can track down various "hard" fishing spots. Beat the records held for each species and you'll unlock the Old Betsy Fishing Rod.

3. Taking a Wing-Suit Flight From the Highest Point in the Game

You'll need to spend a couple perk-points for this one, but if you unlock the Parachute Perk you'll then have access to unlocking the Wing Suit Perk. Once you get that out of the way you can start gliding around from just about anywhere. If you really want to put it to use head to the highest point in the game, Raptor Peak, and see if you can make it all the way to the bottom.

4. Causing Chaos With Wild Animals

You can obtain the "Bait" throwable weapon by looting fallen non-predatory animals. Every time you throw the bait it will attract a random predatory animal. You can use this for a distraction, or just throw it into the center of an outpost to watch the mayhem commence.

5. Throwing Melee Weapons at People

This one may sound a little too simple, but you really won't grasp how fun it can be until you try. From lobbing the bat into someones legs, to spearing them in the face with the shovel, you can take out an entire outpost with only melee weapons.
